A child's birthday party in London usually means a hired hall, a soft play centre or a packed living room, and a long list of things to organise. Two of the things parents ask us about most are what game to play on the day, and what to put in the party bags.
This guide covers both, using the toys we stock. Everything is dispatched from our warehouse in Wembley, London, and we can supply larger quantities for parties, subject to stock.
The short answer: For a game on the day, choose the Butt Head Game (£10). For party bags, the Mighty Mini Voice Changer (£7) and Disco Bath Light (£8) are the most affordable toys. For a birthday child's main present, choose the Pac-Man Claw Crane (£40). Message us on WhatsApp with your guest numbers.
Party Games for the Day
Butt Head Game (£10)
Our favourite party game. One child wears the hat and tries to catch the balls with their head, while everyone else cheers. It comes with 1 hat and 3 balls, needs no setup, and the rules take ten seconds to explain, which matters when you've got fifteen excited children in a room. See the Butt Head Game.
Digital Drum Sticks (£13)
Good for a musical game. Children take turns tapping out a beat, and everyone else has to copy it. The sticks play drum sounds through built-in speakers and have light-up tips. See the Digital Drum Sticks.
Pac-Man Arcade Claw Crane (£40)
If the party's at home, a claw crane makes a great high-score challenge. Players control the claw and try to grab a power pellet before the timer runs out. Ages 4+, as stated on the packaging. It also makes a strong main present for the birthday child. See the Pac-Man Arcade Claw Crane.
Toys for Party Bags
Party bags tend to be full of sweets and plastic that gets thrown away. One small toy that actually does something is often a better use of the budget.
| Toy | Price each | Cost for 10 guests | Age on packaging |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mighty Mini Voice Changer | £7 | £70 | 6+ |
| Disco Colour Changing Bath Light | £8 | £80 | Not stated |
| Butt Head Game | £10 | £100 | Not stated |
| Pac-Man Arcade Pinball (Mini Series) | £15 | £150 | 3+ |
Costs above are at the listed prices and don't include delivery. Orders over £65 qualify for free UK delivery, excluding certain postcodes, so most party bag orders for ten or more children will qualify.
- Mighty Mini Voice Changer: four funny voices, battery included. Great for ages 6 and up.
- Disco Colour Changing Bath Light: floats and changes colour, with a suction cup. A nice choice for younger guests.
- Pac-Man Arcade Pinball (Mini Series): a more generous party favor, with music and a lightbox. Ages 3+.
