The Gifts, One by One
Electric Hot Water Bottle with Charger
This is a rechargeable, plush-covered hot water bottle, so there's no kettle and no risk of a boiling-water spill. The listing states about 15 minutes to heat, heat retention of up to 3 hours (according to the packaging) and a built-in safety thermostat. The charger is in the box.
It suits anyone who likes a warm bed or a warm lap on the sofa. As with any heated product, the recipient should follow the manufacturer's instructions for charging and use. You can see it on the Electric Hot Water Bottle with Charger page.
Heated Travel Scarf
A soft scarf with built-in heating, adjustable between 45°C and 55°C. It runs from a power bank over USB, and one detail matters here: the power bank is not included. If you're giving it as a present, check the person already owns one, or plan to add one yourself.
It's a good fit for commuters, dog walkers and anyone who stands around outside. Take a look at the Heated Travel Scarf.
Therapeutic Heated Belt
A plush wearable belt that sits around the waist and lower back, with three temperature settings and an internal pocket for cold hands. Despite the word "therapeutic" in the name, think of it as a cosy comfort item rather than a medical product. If the person has a health condition, they should check with a health professional before using heat.
It's a thoughtful present for someone who spends winter evenings at home. See the Therapeutic Heated Belt.
USB Cup Warmer with Mug
The set includes a 460 ml stainless steel mug and a USB-powered warming base with a stated temperature of around 41°C. The mug has a splash-proof press-fit lid, and a base cover helps protect the desk.
It solves a very specific problem: the cup of tea that's cold before you've finished the email. It needs a USB power source, so it suits people with a laptop or a desk setup. Find it on the USB Cup Warmer with Mug page.
Wireless Sleep Sound Mask
A soft sleep mask with built-in wireless sound, so you can listen to music or a podcast without earbuds pressing into your ears. Controls on the mask handle volume, tracks and calls, and there's a built-in microphone and a pouch for travel.
It works for long journeys, naps and anyone who needs help switching off at bedtime. Here's the Wireless Sleep Sound Mask.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which is the best cosy gift under £20?

Does the heated scarf come with a power bank?
No. The scarf is powered by a power bank over USB, and the packaging states that the power bank is not included. The recipient needs their own compatible one.
Are heated gifts safe to use?
Used as directed, they're designed for everyday home use, and the electric hot water bottle lists a built-in safety thermostat. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions, and ask a health professional first if the user has a medical condition.
