Space is one of the biggest challenges of family life in London. Children's bedrooms are often small, shared or doubling as a study, and there's no room for a giant toy that gets used twice.
Every toy in this guide is compact, tabletop or pocket-sized. They're dispatched from our Wembley warehouse and delivered across London and the UK.
The short answer: For a desk or shelf, choose the Pac-Man Claw Crane (£40) or Minecraft Pinball (£50). For the smallest space and budget, choose the Mini Pac-Man Pinball (£15). For toys that tuck into a drawer, choose the Digital Drum Sticks (£13) or Voice Changer (£7).

Pac-Man Arcade Claw Crane Core Series (£40)
A real claw-machine game shrunk down to desktop size. Children steer the claw and try to grab a power pellet before time runs out. Its bright Pac-Man styling means it also looks good on display when it's not being played, so it earns its space. Ages 4+, as stated on the packaging. See the Pac-Man Arcade Claw Crane.
Minecraft Pinball – Overworld (£50)
A compact tabletop pinball game with officially licensed Minecraft Overworld artwork, vibrating bumpers, flashing LED lights and Minecraft music, according to the packaging. It's light enough to move from a bedroom desk to the kitchen table. Ages 6+. See the Minecraft Pinball – Overworld.
Pac-Man Arcade Pinball, Mini Series (£15)
The smallest arcade game we sell. It's a mini pinball with Pac-Man music and a lightbox, from the Pinball Collector Series, and it sits happily on a bookshelf. Ages 3+, so it suits younger children too. See the Pac-Man Arcade Pinball (Mini Series).
Digital Drum Sticks (£13)
A drum kit that fits in a drawer. Tap them on a suitable surface and they play snare and cymbal sounds through built-in speakers, with light-up tips and background melodies. They're not silent, so they're best for daytime play in a flat. See the Digital Drum Sticks.
Mighty Mini Voice Changer (£7)
Pocket-sized, with four funny voice effects and a battery included. Easy to take on the bus or to a grandparent's house. Ages 6+. See the Mighty Mini Voice Changer.

Choosing Toys for a Small Space
- Pick toys that double as display. Arcade-style toys look good on a shelf, so they don't need hiding away.
- Favour repeat play. High-score games like pinball and claw cranes get played again and again, which justifies the space.
- Check noise levels. In a flat with thin walls, think about when and where noisy toys will be used.
- Avoid duplicates. One good tabletop game beats three that do the same thing.
