Wireless Karaoke Speaker with Mic (£35)
This is the one most families will want. It combines a wireless microphone, a colour-reactive LED light show, echo and pitch controls, and a remote. The listing describes up to 120W peak power, and says it can also be used for announcements, which is handy at parties.
It plays over Bluetooth, and also from USB and SD card, and has built-in FM radio. There's a carry handle and a rechargeable battery, so it can move from room to room. The listing notes that battery life varies with volume, lighting effects and usage.
Worth knowing: 120W is a peak figure, not continuous power. USB and SD card compatibility can depend on file format. See the Wireless Karaoke Speaker with Mic.
45W Portable Karaoke Bluetooth Speaker, Dual Microphones (£135)
The middle option includes two microphones, so duets are possible straight away. The listing describes a stated 45W maximum output, an 8-inch woofer and 1.5-inch tweeter, Bluetooth 5.3, five RGB lighting modes, TWS pairing with a compatible second speaker and a remote control. It plays from Bluetooth, USB, AUX and TF card.
The built-in battery has a stated playback time of about 3 to 5 hours, and the listing says no waterproof rating is specified, so keep it away from moisture. See the 45W Portable Karaoke Speaker.
Karaoke Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Black (£185)
This is the premium option, and its main advantage is simple: two microphones are included, so duets are possible straight away. The listing describes a multi-driver Hi-Fi system, 6 RGB lighting modes, two EQ sound modes and a stated playback time of 12 to 14 hours.
It supports Bluetooth, TWS, TF card, USB and AUX, and is listed with IPX6 water protection, which means it can handle splashes but shouldn't be submerged. It's the better choice for larger gatherings, garden parties and people who'll use it a lot. Take a look at the Karaoke Portable Bluetooth Speaker.

What to Check Before You Buy
- Number of microphones. One mic means taking turns. Two means duets.
- Where it will be used. A house party needs less than a garden event.
- Noise. Karaoke is loud by design, so think about neighbours and young children.
- Playback sources. Check which file formats and storage the speaker supports if you plan to use USB or SD cards.
- Battery. Stated figures are manufacturer figures and vary with volume.
Making It a Proper Party Gift
If you're giving a karaoke speaker, add a printed list of songs, or a note about favourite tracks. It helps to charge it before wrapping. For parties, you could pair it with a party game, read our guide to speakers as birthday gifts and party favors, or see our best karaoke speakers buying guide.
